Myspace.com a place for people to come together and share personal interests, with this in mind, Micro Web Design delivered an active website for The Arts Council, Inc. MicroWeb Design took the concept of Myspace and applied it to this website, building a custom application that The Arts Council could use to set up portfolio accounts. The Arts Council also had a form that was created that allowed the ability for artists to pay online using Authorize.net, The Arts Council could then approve or disapprove portfolio requests. The portfolio application allowed The Arts Council to create a folder for the artist that in turn would be their "personal website." The artist would then have the ability to add a title, bio, pictures of art work, music and videos. The Arts Council had the ability to edit any artist information or remove any content that they saw was not fitting to be posted. Or if any artist did not pay, The Arts Council could suspend accounts.
